El objetivo estratégico del Ayuntamiento es lograr un distrito comercial céntrico, transitable y de uso mixto, dinámico:
Ampliar las oportunidades para vivir en el centro
Preservar el carácter histórico del centro
Garantizar la accesibilidad al transporte multimodal y la seguridad pública
Promover el uso de las instalaciones públicas
Ampliar la zonificación de uso mixto del centro de la ciudad
Adoptar políticas que incentiven la revitalización de edificios e infraestructura

Downtown Specific Plan Appendices
The Draft Downtown Specific Plan and appendices are now available for community review and comment.
Written comments must be submitted to PlanningDivision@lodi.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 5, 2026.
The Plan is scheduled for Planning Commission public hearing and consideration on March 25, 2026, with City Council review and potential adoption anticipated on April 15, 2026.
