DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN OVERVIEW
The overall vision for the Downtown Specific Plan is to accentuate the heart of Lodi and create a unique destination that is welcoming and attractive with community owned shops and restaurants, and a range of mixed-use housing.
Downtown Lodi is envisioned to become a vibrant, entertaining, and walkable interconnected core that is clean, safe, and family friendly. Enhanced streetscapes with additional pedestrian amenities and outdoor gathering spaces providing increased seasonal events will be created to better serve residents and entice visitors.

for Public Review
Downtown Specific Plan Public Review Draft
Downtown Specific Plan Appendices
The Draft Downtown Specific Plan and appendices are now available for community review and comment.
Written comments must be submitted to PlanningDivision@lodi.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 5, 2026.
The Plan is tentatively scheduled for Planning Commission on May 13th and City Council on June 3rd.
An Open House was held discuss the Downtown Specific Plan on Wednesday, February 17th, 2026 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at the Police Department Community Room located at 215 W Elm Street
